Aeria Games have done it again. The Berlin based publisher has teamed up with another Asian development studio to bring an anime MMORPG to North America and Europe. In cooperation with X-Legend Entertainment, Aeria Games is publishing Twin Saga in western markets. The fantasy roleplaying game tells the story of two twin goddesses who are fighting in epic proportions. The kind Marisa wants to allow the human race to exist beyond the end of time, but her evil sister Amaris is standing in her way. You will slip into the role of an orphaned human who turns out to be the last hope for humanity’s survival. Support Marisa in her quest to defeat her evil sibling and become a true hero.
As a true MMORPG, Twin Saga features endless PvE (player versus environment) and PvP (player versus player) challenges and allows you to customize your character, level them up, and help the population of this fantasy world with their more and less dire conditions. Twin Saga features an immersive world that is chockful of unique fantasy creatures, magic, and mythology. The entire game boasts with unique anime graphics. The visuals are colorful, the characters are cartoony, and the landscapes are picturesque.
At the core of its gameplay, Twin Saga features a unique home base system that sets it apart from any other online roleplaying game. The so called Terracottage is a portable home that you can customize and progressively upgrade as you journey though the fantasy universe. The Terracottages can quickly move through the world, allowing you to visit your house whenever you need to. This will be important throughout the adventure, as the home is where you can craft, develop your profession, and further customize your character’s skills. Your Terracottage can be equipped with tools to learn how to cook, study alchemy, and familiarize yourself with many other professions.
Twin Saga also features a unique class system that allows you to freely swap classes whenever you see fit. The online game is available for free and can be played in English, German, or French.
