Choose your very own Transformer and battle it out against the Decepticons. The official mobile game for the Hollywood blockbuster movie of the summer is here and it offers quick-paced action and thrilling missions.
When Michael Bay’s Transformers came out in 2007, it pretty much set the standard for quick-paced action movies. It had funny one-liners, lots of action, and the iconic alien robots that could transform into cars. Naturally, the success of the original movie spawned sequel after sequel in the following years. The fourth movie in line is called Transformers: Age of Extinction and was released on June 27th, 2014. As is often the case for Hollywood blockbusters, the movie has its very own video game adaption of the same name released for Android and iOS devices.
In the mobile game, you can experience the iconic battle of Autobots and Decepticons in an action-packed combat runner. Choose your robot and dive straight into battle. Similar to games like Subway Surfers or Temple Run, Transformers: Age of Extinction is an endless runner in which you visit the iconic settings of the movie. You will automatically side with the Autobots to fight against Decepticons who are once again trying to destroy the Earth. This stands in stark contrast to Transformers Universe where you can choose the side you want to fight for.
The mobile game features 3D maps in which almost anything can be destroyed. Fight your way through each of the levels to defeat the Decepticons. For the first time ever, you can play as Grimlock, the Transformer that can turn into a robotic Tyrannosaurus Rex. Destroy anything in your path as you charge through obstacles and enemies.
Most of the other Autobots transform into vehicles with which you are guaranteed to have some fast-paced races along varied tracks. Make sure to upgrade your team of Transformers by leveling up their weapons, tech, and abilities to always have an advantage in each stage.
The app is available for free for Android and iOS devices. Download it now in the Google Play Store or iTunes Store to delve straight into the action.
