With the coming of the highly-anticipated film, The Hobbit, publishers Kabam are introducing their own brand of Hobbit action with the announcement of a free-to-play, online strategy game, The Hobbit: Armies of the Third Age.

By teaming up with Warner Bros., publishers Kabam are going to be able to present the world with two new titles inspired by Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit. While PC gamers will get the chance to enjoy The Hobbit: Armies of the Third Age in their browser, mobile gamers also have something to look forward to with the launch of The Hobbt: Kingdoms of Middle-earth.
Both titles are due to arrive sometime this fall and although there is no set date for the release of the title, it has been announced that starting yesterday, September 25th, fans and potential testers can sign up to take part in the upcoming beta testing phase.

We are very pleased to work with Kabam in creating immersive free-to-play online games on massive scales across multiple platforms. Kabam’s Armies of the Third Age and Kingdoms of Middle-earth will be an excellent way for The Hobbit film fans around the world to delve more into the iconic story and interact with the characters in the universe.
