Star Trek - Infinite Space

It appears the journey that was Star Trek – Infinite Space has come to an end as they have announced that the development of the to-be free-to-play MMORPG has been cancelled. Unfortunately, the financial situation did not improve for the developers and therefore, the game will never see the light of day.

For almost a full year now, the developers of Star Trek – Infinite Space have been looking for a publishing partner to launch their would-be free-to-play MMORPG. However, the search resulted in no publisher being found and now it has been officially announced that the development of the title was cancelled.
Even though this may be disappointing news to many Star Trek – Infinite Space fans, it was the right decision and a hard one to make. Throughout development, there were many fun memories that were made, including a “Learning to speak Klingon” video.

Hopefully fans of Star Trek will have something to look forward to in the future, but for the moment, the chance at a new online game has been lost.
