Meet old friends and fresh faces in Orcs Must Die: Unchained. Beef up your hero to take down anyone that tries to destroy your humble abode ...
Venturing into unknown territory and slaying vicious beasts has been the dream of many a fantasy hero in the history of video games. But what if orcs and goblins have come to threaten your home? Then it’s up to you to unsheathe your sword, get your magical juices flowing and strike back. The Orcs Must Die! franchise has granted thousands of players the opportunity to set up steam traps, tar pits or arrow walls to keep out nosy intruders - either alone or with the help of a friend. Now that Robot Entertainment has added Orcs Must Die: Unchained to their portfolio, those of you looking to challenge other players have a reason to rejoice. This free-to-play online game sends you on a fantasy journey filled with new tasks and player-versus-player challenges.
While both the War Mage and Sorceress are once again making their return in Orcs Must Die: Unchained, a wide array of new heroes is also available. For the first time ever, you can now choose to be one of the bad guys by picking characters like Stinkeye, Bloodspike or Midnight. Each and every champion has his or her unique abilities that will help you take down not only enemy minions, but other players as well. Think of this free-to-play title as combination between a tower defense and a MOBA: Winning a round in this fantasy game requires you to keep hostile forces at bay while helping your allies break through enemy barricades to destroy the other team’s base.
How you ward off the opposing team is entirely up to you! Just keep in mind that any gadget or weapon you unlock while playing Orcs Must Die: Unchained can be upgraded and customized to fit your preferred play style. Do you want your spike trap to not only cause damage, but also slow anyone that unwittingly steps on it? How about adding poison damage that will slowly eat away at your opponents' health as they continue their crusade against your stronghold? Communicating with your fellow team members always helps when trying to win a match in this free-to-play game.
