A few months ago, publisher Perfect World and developer Cryptic Studios announced the next major game update for their free-to-play MMORPG Neverwinter. Now, “The Maze Engine: Guild Alliances” update has gone live, and like the name suggests, guilds will play a major part in this patch. All guilds will have the option to form alliances with each other. This will not only result in nifty bonuses and boosts, particularly for smaller guilds, but also in strengthening strongholds. Whenever smaller guilds form an alliance with bigger guilds, the former will level up more quickly. A newly added chat function will make it a lot easier for allied guilds to communicate with each other and organize group events.
Newer players will get a brand new support system with the new update thanks to the Sword Coast Chronicles. This feature provides a specific path from starting the roleplaying game all the way to reaching level 70. It will be much easier to play through the online game without reaching a stalling point. The Sword Coast Chronicles are supposed to help players easily jump from one quest to the next. It also features new achievements that lead to new rewards.
The Maze Engine: Guild Alliances update is now available for the PC and Xbox One version of Neverwinter. It will also be available for the PlayStation 4 launch of the free-to-play MMORPG.
