You can bet your entire life savings that every time Disney releases a new motion picture, a new mobile game will follow. Frozen was accompanied by Frozen Free Fall, Cinderella by Cinderalla Free Fall, etc. Now that Pixar and Disney are releasing their next major blockbuster called Inside Out, it is no surprise that an app called Inside Out Thought Bubbles is launched - but wait… something is different! There’s no “free fall” in the title. Can it be? Is this not a match-3 game?
Lo and behold! Inside Out Thought Bubbles is actually a bubble shooter. We’re still in the puzzle game category, but it is a nice change nonetheless. I chose the fun game as our Game of the Day because it is a more than solid contender of this genre. You delve into the wonderful world of 11-year old Riley’s brain which is the work environment of her five personified emotions - Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger. You will meet all of them over the course of your bubble shooter adventure. Each one of these colorful feelings has a very own power-up that allows you to succeed in each level.
The casual app is very appropriate for all age groups. Parents can easily disable in-app purchases since the game asks for the player’s age first. The introduction levels are simple and straightforward. There’s no time to rest on one’s oars however as the difficulty gradually picks up.
If you are looking for a new fun game on the go, you should head over to iTunes, the Google Play Store, or the Windows Phone Store and download Inside Out Thought Bubbles for free.
