We here at sevengames.com have reported quite a lot on Telltale’s Game of Thrones: Season One. We’ve shared announcements, introduced it as our Game of the Day, and gave our two cents on it in our Quick Byte. If all of these efforts failed to bring you to actually download the narrative driven adventure game, this might be your lucky day. Some players who are used to free-to-play games simply don’t want to pay money on a game that they might not end up enjoying. In that case, it is more than appreciated if they can get a sneak peek for free. The guys and girls over at Telltale Games are now allowing all players to delve into the first episode of Game of Thrones: Season One for free. The subsequent episodes still have to be purchased.
Naturally, there’s a reason why Telltale Games has decided to release the first episode of their adventure game for free. The Game of Thrones community has desperately been awaiting the launch of the final episode of the first season. While the release schedule had more or less followed a bi-monthly rhythm, it’s been more than three months already since the last episode came out. It seems that players have to remain somewhat more patient, as Telltale Games is planning on releasing the sixth and final episode called “The Ice Dragon” on November 17th. According to CEO and Co-Founder of the studio, it is “the most ambitious and diversely presented episode [they've] ever produced.”
Game of Thrones: Season One is available for all iOS and Android devices. Follow the link below to try out the first episode for free.
