Back at the end of 2014, the first set of alpha keys were sent out for Fortnite, and since then Epic Games has been hard at work turning the shooter into the best game that it can possibly be using feedback from the players in the Alpha. Since development for Fortnite began, Epic Games has announced a brand new title, which seems to have taken to spotlight away from the zombie game for now. Paragon has been one of the most talked about games this year so far, with some epic teaser videos and cool gameplay mechanics revealed. Epic Games has assured fans that Fortnite is still being developed, despite more and more resources being used for Paragon.
Fortnite on the Back-Burner
Tim Sweeney, the CEO of Epic Games, has made it very clear that Fortnite is still a priority for the development studio, but they want to “start with one major successful launch and do one at a time”. Players eagerly awaiting the release of Fornite shouldn’t be too sad, as it is still a “huge priority” for Epic, and will be a game that the studio will continue to concentrate on, even over the release of Paragon.
