Supercell has added a brand new game update for their mobile game Clash Royale. Players can look forward to quite a few things in the patch. The Finnish publisher is adding a few new chests among many other things. The Legendary Chest contains a Legendary card from any arena, the Epic Chest contains only Epic Cards, and the Arena Packs are rewarded for reaching a new Arena. In order to get even more excited for these new chests, the studio is adding four new cards to Clash Royale – two Legendaries and two Epic Cards. It doesn’t stop there, as Supercell is planning on bringing a new card to the tower defense game every two weeks.

The studio behind Clash Royale is also working on improving the multiplayer gameplay for the mobile game. Players can challenge their friends to friendly battles for example or watch them play against others in the Spectator Mode. Additionally, players can participate in the new Tournament Mode, which features challenges, classic challenge, and grand challenge. Each type rewards players with its own set of prizes. Players have to keep in mind however that they have to earn their way to participate in the classic and grand challenges. The former costs 10 gems to enter and the latter costs 100 gems to enter. The top prize for the former is 2000 Gold and 100 cards, and the top prize for the latter is 22000 Gold and 1100 cards.

As always, the patch also fixes some balancing issues and some other small bugs.
