Mechanist Games has nothing but a positive outlook for City of Steam: Arkadia after successfully relaunching the browser game. While some patches have already been launched to smoothen the gameplay experience, much is planned for the near future.
The next big content update is scheduled to hit the servers in February and will fix more than just bugs and balancing issues. Players from all over the world can expect a new level cap of 60, additional multiplayer content in the shape of Monster Lair challenges and the removal of energy barriers, allowing them to freely visit instanced dungeons whenever they like.
Both new gamers and experienced heroes can not only look forward to more main quests, but also Spiretop raids - massive battles that will give dozens of players the opportunity to team up against evil forces. In hopes of keeping the RPG as free-to-play as possible, changes will also be made to the monetization aspect of City of Steam: Arkadia. More cosmetic items, less pay-to-win.
