Armored Warfare has been in development for quite a while. Finally the Open Beta is here, and we all have the chance to get our hands on the free-to-play tank game, and do battle against opponents online.
Although there is the feeling that this type of game has been done before with World of Tanks, Armored Warfare feels quite a bit different after you’ve played it for a while. There are nuances and differences that are not only different to Wargaming’s title, but could also be said to be better than Armored Warfare’s main competitor.
Modern Tank Warfare
One of the main things that Armored Warfare does well, is include a lot of contemporary and modern tanks in its huge arsenal of different armored weapons. Players can drive around in vehicles that have been produced after the 1950s, meaning there are loads of cool toys to play with in game. Some of our favorites were things like thermal sights and anti-tank missiles fitted to the side of the tanks.
Something that we really enjoyed in Armored Warfare was the PvE missions. This is a great way to learn the game and practice in new vehicles you unlock without getting into too much trouble with your team mates. There are a whole bunch of different missions to choose from, so there’s always a variety.
We think that Armored Warfare is definitely worth trying out, especially if war games and tank games are your kind of thing. You can download the open beta by clicking the button below and heading over to the official website.
