Angry Birds Description

The Bad Piggies have stolen your birds’ eggs. This is unacceptable. Help your Angry Birds use their special skills to defeat the pigs and get their precious eggs back. Understand each bird’s way of flying (or falling) and work with the physics engine.

If you haven’t heard of Angry Birds, you must’ve either lived under a rock for the last few years or only recently gotten a smartphone or tablet. Publisher Rovio Mobile’s mobile game has become of the most iconic and well-known gaming apps ever since its release in 2009. It has managed to become a franchise that spans all kinds of media outlets, something that not many games manage to do anymore. Since then, millions of players have downloaded the app and tried to support the Angry Birds on their quest to get their eggs back from the Bad Piggies. Don’t despair if you’ve never heard of the casual game, however, since it is never too late to jump into this colorful world.

Angry Birds features a simple physics-based gameplay that anyone can easily understand and learn to perfect in no time. It doesn’t matter whether you are a seasoned gamer, experienced in all kinds of genres, or a newbie who has never played a video game in their life. The casual game manages to achieve what only few games can - it speaks to all kinds of players independent of their experience, their gender, or their age.

The mobile game’s gameplay is easily explained. On the left side of the screen, you find a big slingshot, well, big enough for your Angry Birds at least. Why? Well, because you will use your birds as ammunition to attack the Bad Piggies. These have sought shelter under rocks, wooden planks, and glass cubes. Simply slide your finger to the left and find the right angle before you let go and shoot your bird across the screen to not only destroy the pigs’ fortress, but also defeat these green creatures. Each bird type has a unique way of flying. The red birds are pretty basic, simply flying in an arch, the yellow birds increase their speed in mid-air, and black birds explode.

Angry Birds currently features more than 495 levels which get increasingly more challenging the further you get. It is available for all Android and iOS devices as well as for your browser, in case you prefer playing games on your computer.
