Sure, I’m jumping on the bandwagon, but you know what? It’s a fun bandwagon and I am happy to be on it. Everyone is streaming it. Everyone is writing about it. Everyone is obsessed with it. Agar.io – the simplest MMO of all time, or something like that. I have played a lot of addictive casual games in my time, but this one is certainly one of the most fun and addicting yet. Once you’ve started playing Agar.io, there’s no turning back. Whenever your PC is on, you will feel tempted to type in those magical six letters - only one round, only for a few minutes. All of a sudden, you’ve spent several hours eating dots, running away from other cells, and being eaten.
What defines a good game? Is it graphics? Multilayered gameplay? A profound story? You know what, sure, all of those aspects make for good games, but in the end, a good game is one that immediately pulls you in and won’t let you go! A good game is one that you can play any time you feel like it. A good game is one that is fun, one that is simple, but challenging. Agar.io is all of these things.
It is free-to-play, features multiplayer gameplay, and is intuitive and fun. It can be played anytime in your browser without any loading time whatsoever. Sure, more detailed graphics would be nice. Sound effects and music could provide for a nice atmosphere. More varied gameplay would guarantee for long-term challenges. At the moment, Agar.io features everything that it needs to make it very addicting. With more improvements in the future, the browser game will potentially even be around for quite a while!
This is why Agar.io is my Game of the Day!
